Future Plans:
 
• Completing the computerization of library operations and services and link the library with the INFLIBNET.
• Adding a new block with facilities such as Seminar Hall, Internet Cubicles, etc.
• Establishing a Multimedia Information Centre with facilities to retrieve information through digital documents and Internet.
 
1. The library is open to all the students and staff of the college.
2. The library is open on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and on other authorized holidays.
3. Readers are not allowed to enter the library with their personal belongings..
4. Readers using the library are prohibited from indulging in conversation or conducting themselves in any manner calculated to disturb or distract the attention of other readers. Failure to observe this rule will result in severe disciplinary action.
5. No reader shall write upon, damage or make any marks on any library book.
6. Date labels and book pocket shall not be tampered with. Serious notice will be taken of any violation of this rule.
7. Each student of the college will be issued 2 tickets. A book will be lent to a reader only in exchange of one of his/her tickets which will be handed back to the reader when he/she returns the book.
8. Library tickets are not transferable.
9. A reader who has lost a ticker shall make a written report of the same to the same to the Librarian. A fortnight shall elapse after the date of such notice before a duplicate ticket is issued. During this period, the reader should attempt to trace and recover the ticket and he/she should report at the end of the period, the result of his/her endeavors.
10. A fine of Rs.20/- has to be paid on the loss of each ticket.
11. The period of loan for every book borrowed from the library will be a fortnight. A reader who fails to return a book on the due date will be fined five paise for each day till the book is retained with the reader and the reader will not be allowed to use the library till the book is returned and the fine paid. No Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate shall be issued until all the books and tickets have been returned and any other dues outstanding against him/her discharged.
12. A book may be renewed for a further period of a fortnight provided:
(a) no other reader has applied for the book in the meantime,
(b) not more than two consecutive renewals are made for the same book.
13. In the case of books for which there is an exceptional demand, the period of loan has not expired.
14. The Librarian may recall any book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired.
15. Readers are not allowed to sub-lend the books of the library.
16. Dictionaries and books which might be difficult to replace and such other books as may be declared reference books shall not be lent out.
17. Readers shall be responsible for any damage done to the books or other property belonging to the library and shall be required to replace such books or other property at their own cost. In case replacement being not possible the reader shall pay four times the book value of the book/property, if the publications/materials are not available in the market for replacement
